-"Ram, Ram, Ram" aka "The Light Within You, The Light Within You, The Light Within You."
-As I said in the beginning, that was a mantra I learned from Tamal Dodge at Yoga Salt where my girlfriend Yvonne was working at the time. We took that course together and the practices we picked up really helped me focus through out the prep for this solo and since the worst thing in the world would be to fuck up the last section of a 40 min solo, it felt like a good time to employ all of the meditative skill I had been building. As I said earlier, this was also the chant I taught my Aunt Cathy right before she passed and I can't help but feel like part of accepting her death was getting to the end of this performance that she so heavily inspired. She was a very unique individual and never apologized for the parts of her that were different from everyone else, especially in our immidiate family. I did my best to remember that when composing something this sketchy, where I was trying so many new ideas and knowing how easy it was for these parts to go wrong. On top of the fact I was about to be performing them alongside people like Chris Coleman and Benny Greb. But ultimately, she was there with me and it worked out better then I could've hoped for.
-Last but not least, that back flip was also much higher in the first 3 passes at the recording session. This was my 4th time through this solo in the span of about 4 hours, so my legs were dead and gone by that point.

Literally the only issue I found in that album is that there seems to be a typo in the first track’s title, which went from “Copper Wasp” to “Cooper Wasp” between the EP and that release. 🙃 Alice M.

Heavy mile-a-minute Prog Metal normally isn't my thing, but these guys shred with surprising finesse, showing a healthy appreciation for nuance and melody underneath all the muscle and testosterone. neu-mann

Night Verses ne se répète pas une seule fois pendant plus d’une heure. Chaque morceau est une nouvelle expérience sensorielle qui ne laisse aucun répit aux neurones.
